What it is

Contentingency is a planning and production workspace for a marketer who runs several brands. Each brand gets its own brand book, and the work for all of them moves through one board, one inbox and one calendar.

Teammates can be invited in as members, and clients as viewers who can see the work.

The build

Work moves through six stages: ideation, production, review, approved, scheduled and published. AI agents draft plans and pieces of content, but they can only move work between production and review.

Ideation, approval, scheduling and publishing belong to people. The app never posts anything itself: a person marks a piece as published after sending it out.

The screens here show a sample brand, a made-up coffee roaster.

Contentingency's calendar: campaigns as colored bands across a week.
The calendar: campaigns as bands across the days they run.
Contentingency's inbox: a list of items that need a decision, and an agent's thread open with Approve and Reject buttons.
The inbox: only the work that needs a person's decision.

Still open

  • "Published" is marked by hand. The app does not post to any channel.
  • Connecting channel accounts and reading performance data are planned for the next version.
  • Early access is by invitation and is not yet open to the public.
