I'm a self-described geek and renaissance man who's spent the better part of two decades working across the full stack of marketing and design – brand identity, email campaigns, social media, video production, presentations, and web. I love the craft, and I care about the outcome. Those two things aren't at odds.
Beyond execution, I bring strategy. I think about the customer before I think about the deliverable, which means the work I produce tends to actually work. I've contributed to rebrands, built content systems from scratch, and helped teams communicate more clearly and consistently across print, digital, and everything in between.
I operate with a lot of integrity – in the work and in life. I ask good questions, listen carefully, and I never stop picking up new tools, platforms, and approaches. The testimonials below probably say it better than I can.
From static visuals to video and animation, I create a wide range of media assets with the technical depth and attention to detail to bring creative ideas to life – consistently and at a high standard.
I design modular, visually effective emails and build automated campaigns that engage and convert at multiple stages of the funnel – with an eye for design that makes people actually want to open the next one.
Clear, purposeful communication is at the core of everything I do – whether that's writing copy, designing a presentation, or keeping a project on track. I know how to translate complex ideas into language and visuals that land.
Having contributed to several successful rebrands, I know how to build and maintain a visual identity that holds – logos, color systems, typography, messaging guidelines, and the discipline to keep it consistent across every touchpoint.
Capable of deploying agentic AI platforms like Claude Code and OpenHands to rapidly prototype custom tools, automate workflows, and handle technical administration – running local models to keep the stack in-house and adaptable.
Fluent in AI image generation with hands-on art direction, voice synthesis, and emerging creative production tools, actively pushing their application across marketing and design.
As Content Manager at the Florida Digital Service, I owned content strategy and production across social media, video, and email — and contributed to an in-progress brand standards effort to establish a more cohesive visual identity for the agency. I also ran production on agency documents and reports, developing on-brand PowerPoint templates and standardized formatting that brought consistency to communications across the organization. I managed a direct report and traveled to provide branding and campaign support at high-profile public sector events.
At Lochner, I put my background in data visualization and automation to work building well-branded tools for report generation. I created complex map graphics and applied advanced data automation techniques to support the traffic analysis team, improving the efficiency of report production while strengthening the company's overall brand aesthetic.
At McNICHOLS CO., I played a key role in revitalizing the company's email marketing strategy — designing responsive campaigns that effectively promoted their industrial and designer metals products. Working alongside the marketing team, I also contributed to branding and design strategy, and helped develop online onboarding strategies that supported the company's broader growth goals.
At CareSync, I designed marketing materials that communicated the company's healthcare-focused messaging across a range of touchpoints — brochures, packaging, emails, social media graphics, and web assets. Beyond production, I collaborated with the marketing team on branding and design strategy, creating work that addressed the complex needs of their clients and helped communicate the value of their services.
Working with Wicked Armor as a brand and marketing consultant, I brought graphic design, photography, videography, and web design together to build a new online presence that better showcased the company's portfolio of characters and reflected the Wicked Armor brand.
At True Geek Media, I wore a lot of hats — brand consultant, media producer, web designer, and tech manager for live shows. I applied my skills in video editing, motion graphics, branding, and streaming technology to create engaging content and advertising collateral, designed the True Geek Radio website, and helped evolve the brand's identity as the company grew its audience and online presence.
In my marketing role at RS&H, I applied my skills in web design, corporate identity, and content hierarchy to produce marketing materials that made an impact. I contributed to the company's rebranding process, helped finalize major design decisions, and carried out web development work — including a redesign of the RS&H website — that ultimately piloted a complete company rebrand.
As a visualization specialist, I applied video editing, motion graphics, and photo simulation to create compelling assets for the company, and contributed marketing support through animated Flash interfaces for kiosks.
While at Wacky World Studios and pursuing my degree, I focused on building and updating the company's web presence and e-commerce platform. I also aided in creating photo simulations of themed environments and completed various other creative tasks.
While at QG Partnership and pursuing my degree, I developed dynamic flash applets and designed and animated flash advertisements. I also gained experience in animation compositing.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media Design from The Art Institute of Tampa. While there, I developed a strong foundation in technical skills and gained experience in a range of design disciplines, including web design, graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics. I also participated in design clubs where I gained valuable skills and experiences.
While attending the Seminole Vocational Educational Center, I participated in training related to computer electronics, computer coding, and computer literacy, as well as training in commercial arts with a focus on building design skills and participating in class critique. Upon graduation, I was highly encouraged to pursue a career in commercial arts from instructors and colleagues.
I completed my high school education at Osceola High School and the Seminole Vocational Education Center, with a focus on general education at Osceola High School and extracurricular education at the Seminole Vocational Education Center.
Grant Garrison is one of the hardest working, dedicated, and talented individuals I know. He is incredibly versatile and able to fill almost every need a company could have, whether that be graphic art, design, a brand refresh, marketing, and even web design. His ability to not only take on any task that is thrown his way but also his flexibility to quickly evolve and solve issues that arise is second to no one I've ever come across in his field. He is a brilliant brand manager, graphic designer, artist, and web designer. I could not recommend him more for any and all branding and design needs.
Grant is a strong designer and an equally strong digital marketer. I brought Grant on board to elevate our creative, brand strategy, and digital marketing, which he helped accomplish while we worked together. He is incredibly technical and detailed-oriented, and on top of that, he listens intently, communicates effectively, and never stops learning new skills and strategies.
Grant is a strategic thinker, empathetic marketer, and an adept provider of digital experiences.
He has a multi-faceted experience level, making him surgical across multiple disciplines. Whether you need him to design a web experience, create social advertisements, craft an e-mail, write a line of copy, or produce video/photo content, you can trust that Grant will provide a solution that meets company objectives, while having the end user's best interests at heart.
Grant doesn't let his experience level box him in. Despite utilizing effective methods that he has learned over his career, he still pours time and energy into staying up to date on modern practices of his trade. In other words, Grant doesn't coast on his high-level of experience. He learns new things, every day!
He is a true empath and you will be able to count on him to conduct himself with Integrity when doing business or simply doing life.
If you hire Grant here are a few things that you can expect to hear him say every day:
He is a culture keeper! While I worked with him, he did his best to embody company culture, consistently basing his decision making off of our company's values and service pillars.
I would work with him again in a heartbeat and so should you!
I attended the Art Institute with Grant and sometime in 2004 or 2005, I began to take notice of Grant's work and work ethic. In a school of higher learning full of senior superlative winners for "most artistic", Grant was the big fish in the small pond.
I have worked with Grant on group projects and we've assisted one another on personal projects. Grant can make the "blah" "bling" and he can create "extraordinary" from the "ordinary."
A consummate pro, even before his professional career began, Grant is a team player, a leader, a mentor, a learner, and an artist. His skills are innumerable and his intellect and manners are only a few of the reasons Grant would make an invaluable member of any employer or any project.
If you need fresh eyes or paramount skill, you need Grant. If I were building a team of super heroes to defend Earth from evildoers, I would start with Batman. If were building a team of artists to defend awesome from mediocrity, I would start with Grant Garrison.
